For textures as simple as that, you don’t even need anything more complex than MS Paint.

Not really. It was a slight exaggeration, but everything's mostly flat colours and straight/wobbly lines. The backgrounds are a tiny bit more complicated since you can see stuff like gradients, a bit of noise, and painterly effects. I haven't actually used ArmorPaint so maybe it is better for your project than I think, but personally if I were to attempt to recreate that style then I'd just use something like Krita.

Flat colors and freestyle lines might not be the best combination. I might be able to get better lines if my tablet worked but mouse? No way.
What else could I try? Mind helping me out with some guidance if I post the project's reference chart?

OP here, it hasn't worked yet.
An anon did this texture for me and some shapes work but the buildings are giving me many issues with UV maps.

Issue is that I have shit tier topology and unwrap (smart UV) doesn't actually work.

Unwrap though
