Not OP but that's due to gatekeeping. Name one successful game studio, that's not under kike influence and not in support of abc mafia/ normie doctrine.

Guess i'm a few days late
What's the proper way to rig elbows and other joints on a high rez model?
I've been trying different combinations of adding bones and drivers but i keep failing.
I found a good solution online for the back of the elbow to stay in shape but the front keeps clipping.
I want to get tight right without weight painting because i find that brush completely uncontrollable for small tweaks like these.

Also, does anyone know if there is a value in Blender, that you can set on a bone and will influence how strong (weight) the generated heatmap will be from "Armature Deform With Automatic Weights". I want one bone to generate a weaker heatmap.

I came back to post the best solution i just found and i'll stick with it unless someone posts something better.

You add 2 bones that shrink in place just like regular muscles would contract. Unfortunately i couldn't find a transform driver that allows you to shrink a bone like that so i had to use 2 separate drivers.
One that moves the bones away from the joint, which stretches the mesh.
And the other one that scales the length axis of the bone. This allows you to move both ends of the bone together towards it's center.

desu i tried weight painting in maya and it felt even worse. The neon green color an the white mesh grid made it so bad i couldn't even tell what the mesh underneath the color looked like

Wasn't that the case with Chun Li reveal in SF6?
I remember /v/ going batshit when someone pointed out her thighs jiggled from the impact.
I also heard there was a similar case with Ramlethal in GGST but that one i haven't noticed in game.
