For those of you who aren't NEETs, what do you do for a living while you learn/do 3D shit?
Any recommendations for choosing a job/profession that allows enough time on the side for 3D shit? Other than not getting a job at all and somehow doing creative shit, as Brian Eno suggests artists to do?

Saw this course on rebelway for nuke compositing on peers with pure CG week ( week 5). How are they doing this? This is what I want to achieve with Nuke - pure cg - but I cannot afford the course and only the first (free) chapter is up on peers. Rn my workflow with renders is terrible since I dont know how to get to comp, even with USD / Solaris setup in Houdini

I have a favor to ask; I dabble in 3D from time to time, for own satisfaction only. Previously I had an access to 3dsMax 2018 and saved some scene files there. Now the version I have access to is 2013. Since each version saves scenes in slightly newer format, I cant open my 2018 scenes in Max 2013. Can someone help by resaving them in 2018 as 2016, then 2014>2013? (Max scenes can be saved as up-to-2-years-older format as Ive read)
