We had the SexyBeach 3D game with almost these graphics in 2004 or 05, my good zoomie.
His shit was decent but certainly not ground breaking for animation.

There are many ways to cure it nowadays. Google "checkpoint inhibitors", google "electromagnetic helmets for gliomas", that's just for start.
PhD positions are very limited, a lot of people who try really hard have to be rejected because world simply doesn't need so many scientists.
There are stories of suicides by rejected scientists who dedicated their life to it and still couldn't make it because of how oversaturated that field is.
