๐Ÿงต 3D printing help

Anonymous No. 1009422

Hey everyone, I need any tip to best orientate this cosplay barrel prop for 3d printing. For me, along the Z axis is the best, for clean, no cut and glueing, minimal support. But still will be so much hard to remove support.
Thanks in advance :)

Doesn't look like you need any supports at all for that. Maybe in the center of the slot cuts if you machine bridges badly. Probably not worth it.
The thickness change in the end of the barrel might cause problems too, but a support all the way from the table to adress it is a terrible idea. Just print without and see what happens, I bet it's not so bad.
If you can edit the model add some chamfers or something to make the entry angle of those overhang layers easier.
