🧵 Grease pencil & making refs for 3d animations

Sorry to make a new thread for this but the board is drowned in shitty threads anyway.

I'm trying to draw some poses from video references with grease pencil but while I can find some tuts on how to use grease pencil, I can't find many informations on how to use these drawings as refs for 3D animating. So here's my problems if anyone can help with them:
- Why does my drawings stay on all the following frames sometimes while others don't ? (I just want them to be present on the frame they were drawn in)
- How can I import these drawings/clips into another file to use them as references for my 3D animations? (What's the process I mean)

Also anyone know wich book pic related comes from?
