Anonymous No. 834915

Anonymous No. 834980

That's probably why. They tell their families about you.

Using the OP's thread, elighten me. If i manage to make $160/month i'm good on bills, food and living expenses.

How can one achiev that?

Look up how shitty some of the pajeet artists are there, and they have like 1000+ reviews. That's $25 average multiply by 1000 = 25k for the whole time they are on that site. Not bad I should say

In the category "product design" there are 13k people offering 3D and CAD services, there is no chance getting any clients even if you charge $5/h.Upwork is also similar.

The only site I had success so far is peopleperhour where I made $580 (average salary where I live) this month from a single client. I had no prior reviews and it was simple luck that got me the projects. I did 3D modeling and 2D drafting.

I think the market is oversaturated by now and things could have maybe worked out if one had started it 5-6 years ago.

Anyone can model
If you wanna get the buvks also learn how to animate and texture

That would be an entirely different field than the one I went to college for. I am a Mech. Engineer and I am focusing on technical models and drawings. Although there is some overlap if you are in the industrial design branch.

Changing my field of work would be time consuming and too experimental for me.

You went for the lowest common denominator

no dude the market is not saturated, how many people do you think are making decent simulations using houdini? not many, also if you're exceptionally good at something there's always gonna be work for you.

this works in every country, pretty cheap if they share borders and one hour drive to a border

i'd be willing to hire people to retopo and bake stuff for me. i'd even pay them more than 5 bucks if they wanted.
