🧵 Difference between Blender and Zbrush
Anonymous at Thu, 24 Jun 2021 11:16:03 UTC No. 835043
Before posting this thread, I searched extensively on the internet but without having too much of a concrete answer. For me it’s the same thing but it turns out it’s quite different

You did not, ot wouldn't take more than 10 minutes to find the crucial differences between them.
You actually just say that to get spoonfed.

Install both and find out. It will take less than 10 mins of use to notice the difference.

As a Blender user, you're definitely better off with ZBrush when it comes to sculpting. I still use Blender's sculpt tool because I find it convenient, but ZBrush is admittedly far better for this sort of thing.
Though do keep in mind that there is a bit of a learning curve, much more so than Blender's sculpt mode.

You legitimately should just try out both.
ZBrush has better viewport performance (there are things you can do to get around this in Blender but they involve extra work and knowledge).
There are more brushes and tools and stuff in ZBrush by default; you can recreate almost all of these in Blender (via making your own brushes, using free or paid or default included but not enabled addons, using free or paid third party software, writing your own python scripts, etc) but they're not available by default and they require extra work.
If you've never tried ZBrush you won't know what stuff you're missing
