Sounds like you're jealous and projecting that your art is terrible.

Definitely not, I have no reason to be jealous of dazlets and tutorial artists. It's just annoying to see these people parade around like they're making amazing art when really they're not.

Imagine being jealous about an objectively good artist. You should use that time to improve dude.

Tell me what's objectively good about his art, I'll wait. But honestly this isn't aimed solely at his art, most 3D art on IG isn't very good

youre infected with the mentality that a lot of other /3/ users are. You assume that making projects from the grouind up is the only way to make something worthy. You dont realize that the average person consuming 3d content doesnt see the hard work you do and the time you spend in doing every little thing yourself. Once you drop this mentality, you'll be much more likely to finish projects and make something enjoyed by more people. Working with only your own skills is good for practice, but using other people's building blocks has been the way the human race has always advanced.

You're wrong. They DO see that work. The thing is that in these cases, virtually none of that work was done by the 'artist', but by someone else who goes uncredited, and the average normie doesn't realise it. They think the guy behind the account is the one with the talent.

It doesn't bother me because I'm not a great self promoter, it's not like this is a lane that affects me that just isn't who I am. They can do whatever they want over there.
better to just focus on your own work and your own lane OP.

Just imagine, all that energy and time you put into bashing others could be better spent on working on your own skill. If you keep this up you're ngmi

I'm already working in the field. I don't need Instagram likes to "make it"

ehh, unlike this entire board here these people actually finish assets and present them. hating others is for achievers, not for /3/-tards

Shit, it's pretentious as fuck, but I can't help but feel a little jelly. I'd love to have my work in a physical gallery space. That'd be cool.
It's like putting your work online for people to see, but you can actually see the people looking at your art. That, and it's in a physical space so you can't scroll past it in 1s.
But I'll agree, most 3d shit on IG is pretty shit.
Blame Beeple for that. His shit got popular, the algorithm picked it up and shits on every other artist that doesn't follow the format.
It doesn't help that C4D breeds a fart-sniffing community.

Even worse are the NFT artists. Hundreds of them became millionaires in that bubble, selling absolute garbage. https://cryptoart.io/artists
