Marv is literally cut down CLO without the features for making actual clothes out of it, just get the most recent torrent you can find for marv and go crazy.

I use clo since marvelous doesnt have shit like negative layers, distrubute internal line between segment, exporting topstiches as png...
Clo on the other hand misses the retopoly tools.
But you can do that shit on maya anyway.

It's been a while tho maybe Marvelous has more features now.
