What are some good resources for animating 3D faces? I am struggling to make people smile in 3d even more than i do in real life and would really appreciate a few tips, videos or some shit that tells me what i should focus on to make more believeable expressions and not just stretched sideways and back lips that make a zucc smile anyway even after tinkering with eyes and cheeks for an eternity.
Any software. It's all moving bones around in the end anyway.

Use a mirror by your workspace, cris.

I don't see a frog or blender shilling here, schizo.
But i tried. I still can't comprehend how mouth muscles work after spending lots of time making wacky faces. I'd like something akin to "Anatomy for sculptors" but for animation that really goes into all the intricacies of how our mugs operate in 3D if there is anything like that.

Just wait for an AI and iphone face tracking to do all the work for you somewhere in the 2028 I think. For now, don't even bother with this shit

Not if you use morph targets or texture animation (for wrinkles)
