๐งต controlling balance?
Anonymous at Tue, 13 Jul 2021 11:35:04 UTC No. 838621
what the hell do i adjust to get balance v. not balance in a walk cycle? basically i get wobbling and limping and jittering unwantedly and was hoping there is existing troubleshooting model/tools to make the spacing and timing (and arc) to avoid those. I dont think i found it it richard william's book but i could be wrong. Please help tx
pic related but not mine but i usually do like this
please elaborate especially on the timing and spacing AND positioning AND anatomy and relative distance/position between anatomy

It's an absolute must, how is anyone supposed to tell you what you should do otherwise?

Lol, this guy has been asking this question for months, yet he hasn't even tried animating anything.

He got the most amazing answer that actually explained how one can set up a model to track the variable center of mass by some anon in an early post he made.
>pic related.
Insurmountable problem for the Op is that the answers to his questions are too complicated to execute upon unless you have a pretty fresh brain between your ears.
Because this is a difficult topic even when you're good at animation. And Op's brain is the very opposite of fresh.
The way he types you can tell he's either on drugs, mentally ill or mentally retarded, so this is just hopeless for him.
It's so disheartening to see someone wanting something this bad while being so absolutley inept at that which they aspire towards.
>please elaborate especially on the timing and spacing AND positioning AND anatomy and relative distance/position between anatomy
Can't you see any further elaboration would be wasted on you Op? You show no promise at all in ever getting this.
Realize you've been at this for months and you haven't even left the 'bouncing ball' stage of understanding yet.
With superweak fundamentals you are asking a difficult and advanced topic to somehow be explained to you, how?
It's as impossible to explain this to you as it is to to explain the nuances of engineering topics to 1st grader.
You don't have the beginning of the background needed to understand the answer to the question you pose.
You're still at the stage where you need to grind your ABC 123 if you are to ever makie progress.
Please Op try to find something to invest your limited time that is more within your ability.

i know /3/ ate alot of shit, but i didnt know they like it so much they practically use it as mouth frehsner. you could help unwaste my time by eating less shit for your nutrition i guess.
>center of mass
yea i ve seen and use this but walk cycle balance seems suggests differently since left and right body parts have to point differently while maintaining some sort of...relative distance to look modestly normal. Problem in 3d is that it can simulate motion without physics itself.
>bouncing ball
yeah thats really weak. not even richard williams makes any comparison for that similarity. im way past that, beg your pardon. or not my concern. or so help explain to everyone how sober you actually are.
from my point of view you are intoxicated by eating so much shit you are practically incapable of actually making any sound judgement about anything including yourself.
you should just quit your job and save yourself some life.
>abc123, first grade engineering
well if it is so simple why dont you go ahead and point us the way, or maybe just go back to your subtitute bench and let the adults who can, talk.

No Op you really isn't 'way past' your fundamentals, you clearly can't read a graphview yet and you need to be absolutely
fluent in that sort of thinking to have your temporal pacing down to an art before you can approach what you set out to achieve here.
You need to head back and relearn everything you think you understood because you've misunderstood it the first time.
Look I really really wanted to help you at one point but I don't know how.
Please understand that teaching how to do do this to someone that is rather clever is an involved process that still requires years of practice on their part.
Now imagine trying to convey that same information across a ephemeral internetboard limited to a few hundred characters to someone that also hella stupid.
I am super sorry but it just can't be done OP, you are asking for the impossible.

the fuck.
>absolutely fluent
we all can see you couldnt tell at all.
>headback and relearn
fine. what exactly? bouncin ball? thats not the industry minimum standard at all isnt? you think this is a fucking five year old question? please do us all a favour and grow a brain
>you dont know how
obviously
you know theres nobody here to prove yourself too. just...go back to reddot or whatever and save yourself some face
