It's a money laundering scheme. Basically just create something, post it on various nft sites and just hope you get lucky. Everyone and their grandma is doing it at this point, so you either need to be extremely lucky to earn money or you go in with several people who can help pump and dump it.

what is the "format" of the NFT? A still image? A animation? Sound included?

It's all of that and more! Even website names can be sold as NFT. Music, animations, sports, "collectables" for online games.
Check this site out. Go to marketplace and just scroll through every category.

NFT is a super convenient way to get rich quick. The harder part is convincing people that your NFT is worth anything.

an NFT is just a transaction on a block chain that "proves" you own something.
most of the people dealing with them don't care and are trying to make the public think that they're worth something now so they can sweep the rug and run away with millions in the future. independent artists trying to sell NFTs have zero chance, all expensive NFT deals are made well in advance of the actual art being made

Because that's how the art world, and money in general works, retard, noone would put money in a piece they wouldn't see returns on. Except if they have a deep connection with the piece or if they can display it in their houses. NFTs are neither because they're all made from dudes who didn't die yet, who didn't have dozens if not hundreds of years to build an artistic reputation, and most importantly BECAUSE YOU CAN'T FUCKING DISPLAY THEM SINCE THEY'RE LITERALLY VOID. The people making the most money out of NFTs are the niggas who made the websites, and CGartists you could count on your fingers. The rest are broke niggas

you can get a mp3 or a image as a NFT and use it on your phone or print it out as a poster and put it on your wall or electronic lcd screen or whatever, kid. Why are you getting so upset you have to type in all caps? Take your meds dude

NFTs were a quick and fast bubble that have now popped. they will never be a thing again, and you will never be a woman

That's so fucking lame. Imagine begging people to pay attention to your phone screen like a middle schooler having angry birds on his ipod
