What is the name of that kind of design?

>What software was used to make this image?
Dunno, but any of the usual suspect 3D software are suitable for the task.
>What is the name of that kind of design?
The perspective is 'isometric 3D'. Architecture is that of medieval islamic military structures. Al-Ikhadir Fortress and the Hulbuk Citadel comes to mind

Mesopotamic architecture have slanted walls, those look super straight. If it's supposed to be mesopotamian in whatever that is from it is very misrepresented.
