Is that just a bank transaction thing? Do I just tell the guy to pay me the price and then I will give him 3d model? I'm pretty sure there should be a guarantee of some sort.

Yeah, he would have to pay before getting the model anywhere else. Family and friends protects you because it's hard to reverse the charges.
