You get more 3d jobs of you excell in your field
t.has numerous offers ranging form furniture firms to documentary makers
But since I'm an eastern eurofag I'm not going to work there 40 hours a week for 600 euros

Ultra based and same.
Although I do worry a bit these days why are my views / likes / job offers lower now than a few years ago even though my quality has drastically improved and artists from best studios love my work.
Only difference is that the last time my work really exploded was when I got featured on 80lv but I refuse to believe it had THAT much power over more people noticing my work.

No need to worry, it's caused by oversaturation. There are thousands of great 3d artists I see that are all based in my city that drag the wages down. I mainly make the bulk of my income from a indie game studio, we racked some good money 450k after steam and google/ios cut and taxes, I got a great amount of money for being the artist and asset maker, I also helped with the music. But I do have a youtube channel aswell and sell models too.

You ever think that maybe you get so many jobs is because they don't value you or your time and just see you as a cheap option? Like one step above a Pajeet.

Well, looking at the fact that 600 euros are an insane amount of money here I don't think they're looking at me as a cheap option

It's a waste of time trying to explain it to them, they don't want to get it.
However, it IS depressing that (at least some) western studios pay us lower just because our wages here are smaller. Meanwhile, programmers here work freelance for westerner clients and get paid the same amount of money as their local fulltime employees.
My experience is that I'm getting paid decently above local 3D artist salary, by an american studio. So to them it is still peanuts, to me it is good, but when I take into account that work is unstable, I'm basically still fucked. If I could only get at least junior murican 3D artist salary, I'd be able to afford to have gaps of few months at a time even.
Idk, I'm starting to realize freelancing will not be worth it for much longer and I'll have to either accept shit-tier (but at least stable) salary in a local shitty game studio, or move abroad. I just don't want to end up modeling untextured cubes for mobile games when I spent so much time to get to a AAA environment artist level. All the technologies and workflows learned would end up being pointless.

hello fellow bratan
getting AAA prod experience at the office and then creating your own team with fellow bratans and working with 'muricans directly is the only way to go
