🧵 confused about design and artstyle

seriously i have the premize and setup defined and even stories but still confused how to pick designs and even artstyle or even main character's skin or hair color, what do i do?
any simple tricks to uh... pick ideas that will be a hit or at least connected to the premise and story
im supposed to work right away but i worried the CD will break the story or something....

Go the tolkien way. If the main character is not obvious from your premise and set-up, your story lags depth. Explore the set-up further and it should appear more clearly.

i guess i am more in the cartoon side on choosing shape of eyebrows and length of jaw kind of shit do you dig? lol
