I need to make clothes for my characters. I have clothing that needs to be simmed for an animation such as a cape or loose skirt but then again ill be doing the character animation in maya so if I use zbrush ill be unable to get dynamic results and if i use MD ill have to constantly jump back and forth to MD to simulate and export a alembic cache. There is also NCloth in maya.
How is the current state of Zbrush cloth brushes compared to marvelous? I assume the results will be static (no alembic sim cache) but then you can and make it dynamic in a realtime engine like how they got capes to work for batman games by painting "resistance" values over the verts

You need 2 versions, one completely thin for rigging and simming and also the thickened actual render version
