I hate the labels of "junior" "mid" "senior" artist cuz I've met a good number of "senior" artists who's work output was shit quality. if you're starting out you're definitely a junior though. been working in Los Angeles for 4 years and I'm technically getting a "mid to senior" rate at $62/hr. although I've seen numbers go up to $900-$1200 day but at that point you need to be somewhat famous or have like an emmy award or some shit. Starting out I made $17/hr but it all depends. This is real life though. people act like there are these rules or guidelines and forget that they're not in the school structure anymore. Really it's all about negotiating properly and knowing how much you're actually worth. Years of experience don't matter if the work you output is better than some old fart with 20 years of experience
