Just IK on the legs and have the hips look at at a rotating point via constraint, torso look at other constraint to remain in place trhu the motion.
You can get natural motion much easier if you drive your movement around a fulcrum outside of the body .
Doing stuff like this takes very little skill if you use your brain a bit and drive the animation from where it makes sense
instead of trying to manually enter rotation keys for the bones (hard mode).
