uhhhh industry bros what's going on over there?

That cat you posted uses Maya and cucks Blender users behind their backs. :)

non-destructive isn't a meme. If you think it is then perhaps you suck at modeling.

>and options for radial symmetry

You can do it with both duplicate special and MASH.

I have been using blender most of my life and love it. I've been trying to find a way to pirate 3ds max just out of curiousity and to make myself more attractive to companies but had no luck. I couldnt even trick adobe into thinking I'm a student for some reason.

Does 3ds max have comprehensive nondestructive tools like blender does? From what I can see, the main thing 3ds max has over blender is that blender has horrible horrible physics sim.

maya bros....

If you want to do proper radial symmetry in blender you have to duplicate the object and then rotate each part one after the other. Now this is a ghetto method. You'll see that your array + bend modifier technique will fail in many occasions.

3DS Max is actually better than Blender at modeling (even though Blender does have some cool modeling tools max doesn't have), but Max's UV tools are fucking atrocious. Everybody likes to talk shit about Blender's uv tools but half of Max's UV tools are made to help unfuck that godawful unwrap algorithm that rotates your islands at random angles and fails at unwrapping circular faces.
