There is a high chance Zbrush will become some duck and tape bloat just like May and Max by adding shit on top of shit instead of revamping the software to be an actual sculpting software and not a weird 2.5D drawing thing nobody uses.

At this stage it will never be 3d. All the tools now are built on the fact that you can copy / repeat strokes on any part of the 2d canvas.
