Hey so I was looking up video game characters and what the fuck is are these two lumps underneath these lips? Not talking about the soul patch, there are literally two big lumps underneath his chips that are dividing the chin.
Is it stylization or do some real people have this shit? Smokers, etc?

You sometimes see that on tough people, fighters that train their neck muscles tend to have that face geometry esp on weigh in when they have very little bodyfat so you can see even the mscucles in their face.
Not that they train their face muscles directly but they tense em up when building their neck and such. Here's a pic of UFC hall of famer Michael Bisping that showcase that look.

Literally every person on the planet has them.
Did you never use a mirror?

Maybe depends on where you're from? Over here that is a very rare surface feature to spot in anyone's face.
If I check myself in the mirror that area is perfectly smooth in my face despite being a 75kg male with a pretty athletic build.

It's as rare of a facial feature as lips.
https://thispersondoesnotexist.com/
This feature gets stretched out in motion because that's how faces work. But on a neutral expression it's ubiquitously present. And don't listen to the other guy saying it has to do with muscularity, that's just a dumb statement. You can see this feature even of babies.

What's dumb about that? That surface feature is the 'depressor labii inferioris' unless this muscle is a large enough feature on your face
to cause a visible bulge you wont see any particular shape in that area of the face.
Like look at Keanu here, that area looks almost concave on his face. Most faces male of female are more like that where I'm from.
If you can see that in a baby overhere and that is one buff ass baby.

You can't get buff in your face. That's not how muscles work. Face muscles attach to skin meaning you can't get a workout on your face.
The feature OP is talking about has no name because muscle names =/= facial features. You can quote me on this. Face muscles become apparent on emaciated people meaning the less fat the more evident the underlying face features become. Those infra-labial bulges are present in fat people as well: https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/sho

You don't have to work against resistance to get a workout, isometric contractions will do the trick for any muscle on your body.
It's nowhere near as effective as working against resistance but you can absolutely tone any part of your body by habitually tensing it up regularly.
These days vain women do face yoga as they age so their face muscles get more swoll and their skin therefore looks firmer.

No. And you revealed that you don't even know what working out means. When you're reduced to using dumb women doing yoga as a way to justify these ignorant statements just stop.

You can tire and stress your face muscles and doing the same movements regularly will strengthen those muscles
All muscles can be trained in this way, even your heart. Are you ESL or something?

Now you're just moving the goalposts anon. We don't have to show you some 'Ironface Qigong' mofo to prove isometric strengthening of muslces is possible.
Nobody is building their face big to look big intentionally, it's a byproduct of their lifestyle.
You have clear evidence it happens in the face of people as well by looking at fighters like Bisping there bellow Op.
People that's doing a lot of hardcore training on their neck muscles and then rapidly dropping weight so you can see the definition.
Powerlifters prob all have unusually built facemuscles as well but they have too high body fat for you to really see any definition in that area.
You look at their temples and forehead you can clearly tell it's built up tho.

Yeah, because they're clearly not trying to build definition now are they?
It's just an example of people that are intentionally excercising their face to demonstrate it is a whole thing.
Instead look at the head forehead and temples of this strongman and ask yourself how they got so enormous.
Clearly he's not lifting any weight with his face, that's all from isometric strain making faces lifting unreasonable mass.

he has a developed temporalis. muscles that attach to the jaw (temporalis, masseter) can be exercised by chewing because that's what they're for. it has nothing to do with being a "strongman" and even less with "face yoga". i can find you pictures of people that never went to the gym in their life with jaw muscles hypertrophy from chewing gum all day, or grinding their teeth in their sleep.
none of this has anything to do with the subject at hand, which is whether the feature mentioned by op can be developed by exercise, or as a side-effect of exercise. i'm still waiting for you to show me a before-and-after of this supposed lip muscle development which i'm pretty sure you would have posted by now if it existed instead of trying to bullshit by changing the subject to temporalis hypertrophy.

I have those well developed, probably a result of practicing wind instruments since I was 6yo.
>>845784
I can't show you any before-after comparison as before was 18 years ago and it's probably something that takes years to develop but it's definitely the muscle since I can contract them. Also I have very low body fat.
