This is perfect if some company (say, Autodesk) wants to make their own version of Blender 3D and sell it as a service.
anyone could easily move their models thought 3DSmax, Maya, Blender 3D, Unreal engine and many other software
companies can profit more while the nerds work for basically free

No, because is cheaper for companies to support blender and just have a small team making custom support tools and have all the companies poor their work togheter.
Much cheaper than paying autodesk.
