Blender fund has been historically in the shit because the team are a bunch of retards, the main development was based historically on what they need to do these short films, yes all of them are paid with public money from the EU and Netherlands, now they have more sponsors and they don't depend onn that only but 6-8 years ago that was all the money they had.
