The bird is pretty good overall, but some areas that need a bit of work:
>More even distribution of detail- the talons & eye are very simple whereas the feathers are very complex- it comes off as jarring
>The material on the talons is too reflective, making it look like plastic
>The feathers seem randomly placed, groom them so they have a bit more flow

Otherwise, you're off to a really good start anon- keep it up!
