I switched most of 3ds max shortcuts into blenders better placed ones, quads is stupid and slower then blenders quick menu, can't snap into perspective from ortho view, loopcut is a nightmare when compared to blender. Overall feels sluggish and laggy.
I'll learn it but damn I'm disappointed with it so far, feel like if given a choice I'd use blender based on the speed and ease difference. Anyone else use both, does it have any benefits over blender?

I use both
max has some functions that make certain tasks simpler and faster but yeah, generally if you're more used to blender you're going to be able to work faster in blender most of the time

>i prefer and am better at using the tools i'm accustomed to, as opposed to these new ones
wow, amazing.
should have learned maya; the modelling tools suck, but at least you feel like a wizard while using the marking menus.

Use maya or c4d they're better than both Max and Blender
