Had a female friend who asked me to help her hack into her BF's comp for the same reason once.
I told her what a keylogger was and also told her that she'd commit a real crime should she decide to use it.
I told her she'd find a bunch of stuff she really shouldn't be looking at as it'd undermine her relationship whether her suspicions where true of false.
Told her she needed to get her own insecurities underwraps if she wanted to stay with the guy in anything resembling a functional relationship.
Basically if you wanna stay with your girlfriend it's a lot easier to forgive something you think she did than something you know she did.
And if you feel you really can't trust her going forward you really ought to dump her regardless.
