If you're a uni student you can eaaily get a free copy of whatever AutoDesk you use which license can be updated annually as long as you're still a student, for me I screenshot my uni eLearning page and inspect element to change the date so now I have a free Maya copy for 20 years.

There probably is an option to download the software and change the entire code of it to make the software think that you did your authorization. Learn to pirate, the state of things could be far, far worse than this. Sketchup only needs a cracked exe, Autodesk products have a universal license server patch that works with every application. Everything was up on public trackers too last time I checked (since these are gigantic apps with millions of users).

Finished university about 6 years ago. I've been using pirated 3dsmax since long ago. Then I heard about Autodesk student licenses. They validate your university id through sheerID, another website. For some reason when I applied to get one such license they accepted my old univ user id and gave me access to all their software. Now I can use the latest 3dsmax, Maya, etc.

Unfortunately it does, the x-force crack cracks the license server itself. You can write a script to launch the services and kill them once the program itself exists, but it's messy. The next best thing would be to run it in a virtual machine, the downside to that is that it cripples the performance. Or I guess learn reverse engineering yourself and write a crack that doesn't need the license server.
