Hey /3/, oldfag here. I'm making some paper ships for a board game I'm playing and I've designed a basic hull with paper spars in Pepakura. I don't have access to the model at the moment, so I'm posting an image that resembles what I have made.
I've run into the problem of plating the sides of the hull - it is next to impossible to make curved shapes in Pepakura. I need a program or a solution that enables the modelled plating to be projected with the correct scale onto 2d space - like UV unwrapping to a specific shape; in other words, unless the side plating is modelled, flattened and printed onto paper correctly, it won't fit the spars. Do you guys know of any program that will enable me to do this properly?
If it's of any relevance, I know how to use Blender, Maya and FreeCAD.

Pepakura already does everything you need. Your question is incoherent.
