Yes. It's like when you first learn about fractals. The concept is cool but it could never exist visually, so all those pics of that turtle fractal thing are dumb and only should serve as kind of a visual aid. "Fractal Rendering" can't exist because it doesn't render a fractal, just a weird shape that resembles one.

Other guy wasn't me. Circles aren't stupid because in real life, I can make one and use it. I'm never going to need a fractal in the same way I would need a circle, so they are in different realms.
