Sup, 3DCG
I'm looking for textures from old banks or games. I know one site(https://www.textures-resource.com/), but I would like to see more. Maybe someone has archives or links to other resources? I will be very grateful for any information

This kind of phenomenon is probably super rare nowaday, all these big studios have a entire departments dedicated to getting fresh reference.

Maybe you should share some of that with them, they are always looking for more reference disks of that era.

One of my recent favorite texture CDs has been Wraptures. My dad used to have two discs of it back in the day, but sold them before I'd really gained an interest. Thanks to Render96 dumping Wraptures Two on the Internet Archive (https://archive.org/details/wraptures-two) , I've been able to look through it after all... Lots of classic stuff in there.

If anyone here happens to have Wraptures One lying around, I'd love to look through it sometime. Mind sharing?

I bought DarkTree 1 & 2 back in the (distant) past. Used it a lot, together with the Symbiont shaders for MAX and LW.

I have some experience with plugin development, so I pestered the DarkTrees developers a few times in the past to release the Symbiont source (or at least sell it to me for some spare money) so that I can port it over to newer versions of 3ds and LW (which is quite easy to be honest once I have a source). Unfortunately all they do is stalling.

Cool. There were some fun plugins for Max back then, like Hypermatter, Clay Studio even cloth and physics plugins. All the Digimation stuff.

Most of those earlier must-have plugins became obsolete once MAX got more tightly integrated tools with similar functionality.
