dassault systèmes is very shitty. tried to run through basic tutorials integrated in the main soft...
First and Worst SW have a "authorized" list of hardware vendors and they held on the Nvidia GRID shit. Second, even if you don't need the rendering and just to fuck around with objects and shapes and dimensions, the command buffer and gui elements would crash regularly. (I personally wanted to get a bit beyond aka the previous Integration of MasterCam and SolidW). I probably should have stuck with Fusion360 (but everyone got fucked one year later after they closed the gates). Fine for additive / 3D Printing.. but no good for subtractive / (Haas) CNC. Learn a tool that has a good community AND you as an Individual.. can afford a personal perpetual License to own and use. BrixCAM and Rhino are pretty mature and well developed software packages without the Adobe/Autodesk "gotta rape everyone yearly".

Might be a long shot, but anyone got Wraptures One? Old 1993 texture disc apparently used in lots of old games. Wraptures Two and Extreme 3D are on Internet Archive but I haven't come across the first one anywhere. Same with their other products like WraptureReels and Page Overtures.

The vanilla surface thickening tool in SW2019 is pretty poopoo. I now there are various kinds of "power surfacing" addon packages out there. I'm not picky about which one to pirate, but I do need to pirate it, because AFAIK it's the only way to make my very complex surface into a shelled solid.
