This post would be off-topic in any other board. This is 3dcg so I was hoping there was some commonly known stuff I'd missed.
I've seen on other big forums and boards where users created different maps by shrink wrapping on to sculpted and detailed meshes with skin and veins, so they do exist out there somewhere.
If I have to pay for it, that is ok too. Googling around only returns low detail base meshes

Friend and I were wondering the same thing, actually. Seems like skin smart materials all seem trade secrets or locked behind hefty paywalls. The few creators I've talked to that do realistic skins for video game mods or VR sandbox mmos all seem to be industry professionals IRL with access to company repos. Hopefully someone here can provide some goodies.

You prolly know this already, but protip: skin types change around the body. Face skin not the same as arms or ear skin.
