No, of course not you absolute retarded piece of shit.
Stop making these "How long to make something like this?" threads, cris.
You'll never be an artist.

buy assets, kit bash anything, and you will have something like that in some hours(not including rendering, you can rent a render farm too)

And yet there are still 2 active threads that ask the same type of questions, and there have been countless of them in the recent past all following the same pattern.

classic cris answer.
But OK, I am playing your game.
>is it achievable for amateur to get to this level of realism ?
Boils down to: can an amateur become a pro generalist 3D artist and solo film-maker?
The answer is obviously yes, because he successfully did it, but it is incredibly hard and it will take a fuckton of time and not everybody can do it - rather only a minority can. Intelligence, creativity and having the right personality play a huge factor.
He had several jobs in the industry acquiring lots of experience over the years before he was able to do that.
The question is, do you have the patience, discipline and drive to get there on top of having the other 3 factors I mentioned? It either takes years of time, effort and practical experience or if you want to proceed faster, some heavy sacrifices - you have to want it more than other things in your life and work twice as hard as the average artist. 3-5 years for learning and getting the experience and at least half a year of intense work (doing nothing else but this) of actual production, and this is an optimistic estimate for a person in the ideal situation, most people probably need more.

>he didn't modeled shit I think,he did that in 2 months
Your thinking is wrong, while he did not everything himself he did model a huge part of it.
I don't know where you get the number of 2 months, but its clearly wrong if you consider that it took him over a year to finish it after releasing the first couple episodes. 2 months might be enough for one of the earlier episodes, but they get longer and more complex.
William Landgren is a good example of an artist who could pull it off if he proceeds further on his trajectory, he has the advantage of starting so young, give him some more years of learning and growing and he might be able to do it if he pushes himself.

? He modeled rigged and animated the robots and the spaceships, he did the backgrounds too, that's more than what the guy from the Astartes did , yes the first things are animation works only, I suppose the cars too, not sure if the new ones are made by him.

He did the first couple of videos in that time, I thought he was just animator and I suppose he did some of the backgrounds and that's it, i could be wrong, anyhow it is a great job too.

The guy who made this has close to a decade of professional vfx experience, he's not an amateur working out of his basement. To put it in another way, it will an amateur 10 years to make the same thing.
