Useful for game dev visuals. People can compete with AAA devs now. How would you review the courses?

It's only a matter of time before people are making entire CGI movies and TV shows in Unreal Engine. I have a feeling the lines between production and post-production are about to get pretty blurred in the coming future.

Jimmy could make Hollywood films/shows without propaganda. This is a great time to decentralize

This is exactly what I'm working on at the moment. It's a very straight forward process but Unreal has been such a blast to work in. It's really great to see things in real-time as opposed to rendering out a scene.

everything is rendered, dude

Is it saying you can animate inside unreal engine without needing software?

You can use Control Rig to animate in-engine using Sequencer.

It's still absolute shit experience compared to blender, maya or motion builder.
It's more useful for people to bit touch up animation inside engine without having to export->modify->import bullshit.

Yeah, there are DCCs that have a lot more functionality for animations, but as you said, it's still pretty good if you need to make last-minute changes.

The Mandalorian relied heavily on UE when filming the show.
They decided to use a new technique instead of greenscreens where they project realtime environment made in UE on a big screen on the soundstage, and then tie all of it to the real physical camera to get accurate parallax, and real reflections and light from the environment on the actors.
Last time I saw anything about it, it was still something pretty novel and new, but I could definitely see it being the new norm over green/blue screens.

Here's a vid about it

the mandalorian could have been done 99.99% in cg without greenscreen. Everyone is either a complete cgi alien or mando himself who wears a helmet 100% of the time. Luke skywalker cameo looked like shit.

I don't care what your opinions are about the show.
I'm pointing out a technology that exists and was used.
Imagine complaining about something having 3D on a board dedicated to it.
