Don't care, same bullshit as inktober. Never do spec work. Never work for exposure. Spend the month building your OWN business instead of driving traffic to some jew.

The prompts are simple, alright. But, aren't you creative enough to make something cool out of them?

I totally agree with your sentiment, you speak the truth, but...
Nodevember can be an opportunity to drive traffic to your own portfolio/ social media accounts and therefore create interest in your own business / brand.
While I wouldn't recommend anybody to align their own plans/work with the specifications (as it would mean working for exposure) the prompts are diffuse enough for people who are already working on something using Geonodes to latch onto it. Slavishly sticking to the conditions isn't necessary to gain some attention.
Also some people flourish when given external conditions and confirmation and might feel motivated to do something in parallel with others (group effect) rather than being lazy and play video games all month. Not everything needs to be seen through the commercial success lens, as learning / growing and having fun can be reason enough.

PS: I am not participating but rather plan to play video games all winter as well as sticking to my own projects.
PPS: Yes, the prompts are boring and dull.
