It's overpriced but comfy as fuck once you get used to it.
The one you posted is useless tho, you need the Pro at least.

I don't have room on my keyboard tray for that.
Anonymous at Thu, 11 Nov 2021 20:29:37 UTC No. 861545
I don't get it.
How is holding the middle mouse button and moving the mouse too hard to justify a 100 bucks meme?

I won't recommend this if you plan to stick to your keyboard.
If you can't manage to only use a SpaceMouse without keyboard just don't buy one.

There is nothing that makes navigating around an object easier than these things, you have absolute free movement and after a short time of getting used to it you can move faster than with mouse/tablet and keyboard.
Think about it like spectator camera in FPS games, you essentially can move exactly like that with just two fingers instead of your mouse + keyboard.
You don't really need it but it feels great and you can rotate your model like a turntable at any given moment.
Only get it if you got money.

>I won't recommend this if you plan to stick to your keyboard.
lots of people say the opposite, that the pro is the useless one and the buttons are useless. Think about it...why would I want to eliminate my keyboard? I'm flying around my rig freakin painting skin weights in flippin maya

What a retarded comparison.
MMB and using the 3d mouse are completely different ways of navigation. If you made such a useless hand-wavey comparison like that, you've clearly never used one.
>>861535
Fuck that. Pro is worthless.

Once you have to move your hand back and forth between that thing it becomes a pain.
I only use it for ZBrush and with that I absolutely love it, it's as far as I can recommend it.
The only thing I can see this thing being worth its money for Maya is realtime camera motion recording, this could enable you to record buttery smooth camera movement without much effort.

You really ought to start putting that jelly in jars.
I'm sure you could run Smuckers out of business.

Wanted to get one, they're all absolutely sold out here in Asia and it seems I can only get the old big SpaceMouse version from Amazon US. Only thing I'd love to get besides this is their mouse with dedicated middle mouse button. The Razer wheel-shit I have is breaking down every time I try to move my model in Substance.
