Then watch arcane to see what people are doing with industry standart

Ironically, this style is very blender friendly. Of course if you’re not a retard and don’t try to texture with it.

I don't think rigs as complex as arcane's have ever been made in blender.

I don’t think they’re that complex, but feel free to point me to an example. I’m somewhat obsessed with rigs and deformations and paused the show many times. I even noticed some minor mesh clipping sometimes.

Are you implying that this netflix show is animated/rendered in Blender?

It was made mostly with Blender, in fact it was Tangent Animation's last production with Blender as main tool before they faced the need to move onto more capable software.

Absolutely not lol. Just saying that blender wouldn't be the thing holding you back if you wanted to replicate this style in some way.

It's not hard to do this sort of rig, though after a point you'll be better off setting up morph targets to create some of the stuff they're doing. The biggest thing to note is that the specific painted style they're doing hides some of the usual blemishes you get with this sort of stylized morphing, like any sort of potential clipping or jagged morphs are gonna be far less noticeable.

its not that blender can't do, but animating complex rigs at <10fps just isnt very convinent..

That's functionally the same as "can't do".

What complex rigs?
Seems like basic bone rigs and corrective blend shapes. Nothing fancy.

>meh meh, blender cant do complex rigs, muh maya is better cause I pay.
Rigs are pretty standard nowadays, where you can drive/program parameters based on bone positions such as deformations, shading. So tell me anon what's a complex rig?
This one below was done in blender, and I was blown away that a freeware already can do standard stuff such as the industry standard.
