I can't believe ZBrush is better than blender at sculpting we gotta get this info out to the pros

Of course it doesn't. Blender is different in every way. And Zbrush is literally the best software ever created for 3d

Imagine being so retarded to download a course for something as simple as hard surface sculpting. It was already fucking easy with just Hpolish and Trimdynamic, the knife thing made it even more easy, are you legitimately retarded?

>hard surface
easy to get into, hard to master
Anonymous at Fri, 26 Nov 2021 11:17:22 UTC No. 864916
is zbrush realy good for hardsurface?.

Yes, but are you?

>>864867 Don't be retarded, use box cutter. on the other bitching you were mentioning you clearly don't know how to use Blender. Stop coping.

yes if you consider mushy looking hardsurface good, or retopo to simplier surfaces instead of just modeling them straight ahead

and here we have a blendlet who doesn't even realise zbrush has booleans and they are maybe 5-6 times better performing than blender booleans.

>polygroups
Im 100% sure bender had some color masks for couple of versions now, i dont use blender but i saw it in multiple videos
>knife curve carving
Came out like this month, after 20 years ...
>isolate selection
Every software has it
As someone who has been using zbrush in production for 8 years now and longer for fun im looking to drop it.
Its currently the most dated and weakest of all the 3d modeling packages and year by year it falls more behind.
If autodesk didnt kill mudbox by firing entire dev staff zbrush would not exists today, they only reason they survived so long is by autodesk incompetent acquisition decisions who ironically killed off all zbrush competitive software. 3d coat just isnt big enough.
I joke not we those days do more displacement detailing in Mari than in zbrush, zbrush just is cant keep up with resolutions we are pushing, and sure as fuck the unfinished tackled on HD geo isnt much of a help.

Not even a valid argument since you should be avoiding using booleans in the first place.

you shouldn't "avoid" any modeling technique, noobie.

Live boolean then dynamesh/zremesh is one of the fastest approaches to hard surface in ZBrush.

If you can't properly bool, chances are high you're a retard or homosexual.
