The more patrons you have the more people you gave whinging like counts constantly. Imagine having a job, I know you’ve never had one but stay with me, imagine you had a job and you have a boss constantly on your case, now times that by how ever many faggots are giving you pennies for your work.

>You get to sit there doing what you want while people throw money at you?
That is unironically what happens.
>doing what you want
No, not even that. Literally just sitting there and sometimes remind your clueless patrons (and yourself) how heckin' good you supposedly are just so they don't think you're dead.

There is literally no accountability whatsoever. People literally give you money for free, there is no legal contract obligating you to give anyone anything other than your own integrity as a person.
Guess what? People are fucking jews inside so you bet your ass they're going to take advantage of that fact. Integrity be damned.

Sure, there may be someone who thinks giving you $5 a month entitles them to your undivided attention, but most don't.
You said it yourself:
>If you think people stop being cunts about their money, think again retard.
If they're already paying you, it means you've successfully managed to hook them on the line and they likely won't stop.

Once you get the ball rolling, it's literally just free cash. You can choose to either deliver or kick the can down the road forever. Most choose the second since it gives the same results for no work.
Don't be fooled into thinking your patrons will get fed up at some point, they won't. Or at the very least, you'll always have a vocal group who will simp for you and excuse any shady practices of yours (for free, too). "Fuck the haters!" and all that.

That is, assuming the number of patrons you have and the money you make off of them are somewhat remarkable.
As in, not 13 yahoos for a grand total of $20 a month but at least like 3 digits for both number of patrons and income. The more you have, the worse it is (read: better for you and your inner jew)

You have to be a special kind of narcissist to be both okay with this and be able to sleep at night without impostor syndrome hitting you like a fucking truck every other breath you take, so I get where you're coming from.

The opposite is true.
Assuming "your job" is 3dcg, that means you do 3d for 40 hours a week, most likely more. To ebeg you are forcing yourself to use up your free time to do even more 3dcg. Contrary to popular opinion, people do get burnt out, even doing things they enjoy.
Assuming you pull through, there is still only 24 hours in a day, you have limited time to create content and you most likely will hold yourself up to reasonably high standards (since that's how you ended up doing this for a living), requiring you to invest more time in any single project.

Compare that to some worthless neet looking to doing 3d as a way to give their pathetic life some sort of meaning, who is literally incapable of seeing flaws in their work due to a combination of incompetence and internalized narcissism.
They have both more "absolute" time to invest since they're likely trust fund babies with rich parents who don't have to work, and "relative" time to invest in any single project since they're not gonna hold themselves to any standards.
Even if they did have to work a normal job they wouldn't have to deal with burnout from doing 3d for a combined 80+ hours a week.

Since simps care more about quantity rather than quality, a neet shoveling shit every other week will be more "successful" than a pro putting out pro level stuff 3 times a year. Might as well just scratch your balls in your free time at that point.

Of course, unless you're willing to shovel shit yourself, but as a pro you're unlikely to be okay with that unless you're sociopathic or a Jew. In which case you're unlikely to have had the discipline and motivation to become a pro in the first place!
So you see, the two paths require incompatible personalities.
