why is the company behind speedtree so silent? documentation is not that good, impossible to find changelogs, finding tutorials is very hard, they barely add new trees to the catalog.
i mean it's industry standard and featured in many movies and games, why are they so silent and barely ever do something?
now they gut bought by unity and there's still literally nothing happening.

game middle ware isn't exactly glorious and something that you advertise like other end user / productivity tools.
professionals who had a need for speedtree always knew about it and used it.
