Character rigs and animation/game systems. But long before I was a TA I was an artist.
I know how to work on anything on the art side from concept to finish + I can program/script anything that doesn't
require advanced understanding of the underpinnings of the pipeline or specialized math, cept vector/quaternion stuff which I've come to know well enough.

The task of making the actual assets based on instructions and feedback is taken away from you and given to AI, which can give a hundred iterations and repeats in seconds and the director can then pick the ones they like, or give additional instructions for more.
In the time it would take a "creative" to make one fitting asset the computer will have brute forced thousands of assets out of which hundreds will serve the needs of the director just fine.

Think "Holodeck" from Star Trek. That's the future.

How do you guys cope when you see a younger artist with incredible skills, that is much better than you?

I can't escape the feeling of having to constantly improve in all areas and get noticed by people in the industry, otherwise I'll get replaced sooner or later. It's a neverending pressure every day all day. Even at my job, I feel the need to always please my leads and if they don't absolutely love every task I complete, I already think I'm not good enough.

I'd at least be fine if it's an older person, but when they are younger, that's when it hits me. Gets a bit easier if they have more years of experience than me though (considering I started doing this at 23-24), otherwise it's even worse.

Also I'm writing this now because I've just seen some work they've been doing lately in the studio that could have potentially hired me as well. And I just think about how the fuck would I handle those tasks and if I would do a subpar work if I was in their place.
