๐Ÿงต How do I git gud at shader programming

Anonymous No. 874176

I want to become a shader wizard and make cool shaders in Unity either through shader graph or code. For now, I have a good understanding over blender's node editor.

Look at the sourcecode of shaders to figure out how they work, play around modifying existing ones and start building understanding and skills. If you're a creative person once you understand how they work you'll invent novel ways of applying them.

Start off by downloading the source for unitys built in shaders, they're all available on their official site.

The "assetforge krita blender" one?
Yea, I figured that it's not actually Cris who posted that, but it sure does fit the criteria for a Cris-post. Given how anons rule here, there are bound to be a few false positives.
