Are you one of those idiots who think anyone can instantly create a AAA model just because it is basic? It might be “just” a chair, but if a guy is a beginner he can still learn plenty with this.

Trust me, there can be a gigantic difference in quality even with the simplest props imaginable. Being an actually good “prop monkey” isn’t that easy, believe it or not. There are so many things to learn and improve on.

No it doesn't, the fibers sticking out of the cloth is probably just a texture with an alpha channel. The chair looks nice because of the lighting setup, a book on product lighting would be 100x more valuable than this tutorial.
