Basically I am loosing my mind and am running out of time.
I need a rigged low poly Wizard and I've been at it for hours but i just can't seem to get the rig to work properly.
Like my weight paint is like bugging the fuck etc.
I am at my limit and was wondering if someone who's proficient could spit me one out

First off, install Gamerigtools
from what it seems it looks like you're using a rigify metarig. Delete your current metarig and pick the basic human armature without adding new bones. The reason being is that it'll generate an error when you convert it to a rigify rig. The most you can do with your metarig is reposition and rotate the bones to fit your model.
After you're done, you have to convert it to a rigify rig in the armature section (armature tab --> rigify buttons --> generate rig). If you can't find it, select your metarig armature, press your search key (F2 or space), type Generate and pick "rigify -> generate".
It will generate a control rig which is useful for animating, but not for game engine exporting. It will bring several bones you don't need and you won't be able to retarget animations as they don't have the correct parenting.
This is where gamerigtools comes in, it will save your animations and convert your control rig to a game rig. However you have to reparent them to something like
should be root-->hips-spine->chest-->shoulder

If anons want to correct me or have a better method post it

some notes:
added bones for beard and hair
renamed hat bones
your model has inside faces, cleaned up some of them, might want to be careful when you make new models
the rig itself was alright, but the model itself is kinda janky so weight painting to fix it will be necessary everytime you automatically weight paint it.
the legs being attached to the body that way isn't really recommended, but that depends on the type of animation youre going, should be fine for walking
if you got any questions or something ask here or you can find me on Discord Dogs #2889

I would like to thank you but once I boot it up on my end shit gets fucked again
as soon as i move the arm for example it moves certain parts of the hat which is weird.
Is there something i need to download first?

Looks like a python script tries to run on loading, whatever happens the mesh doesn't seem to have vertex groups, maybe you two are using different versions of the program.
