The guy in the video is not trying to be a dick but the channel makes more from showing what other people do than the artist does for making art. He can include a link of the artists name but 1% of people actually go to the artist's profile. People blow their load for the people that share but not for the people creating the actual art.

He's just using it as visual aid for his educational video.
I think his videos are kind of mindless and don't give any real good advice but nonetheless, that's what he is doing.
I think it's incredibly petty to call out the guy for including images of the artwork.
I can understand the thumbnails and getting the artist's permission or even a commission fee, but when your art just appears a couple seconds while he is talking about something else, just seems like a pile on.

The original tweet literally says "Minimal credit"
You want to be a contrarian over discourse so hard that you're just ignoring the words in the original post in order to have something to complain about, go outside, and don't ever come back to this fucking board.

Posting your art to social media is stealing your creativity for nothing in return. Exposure only goes so far. Your worldview is going to lead to a really depressing future where only bigger companies will make what they think art is. really think about the tech platforms we have now and what they do the the state of art. Just because we are forced to use social media does not mean that the platform doesnt removes art's value.

Sorry about your mental problems. Boomers were never supposed to be good with computers and now they get all their information from the internet that they dont know how to use. Get out of your bubble and see what people who are not like you are up to.

This is why I never get mad when people start kitbashing the fuck out of some people's work or don't credit at all.

i can't believe he'd show that guys art for 4 seconds as background filler in the 13 and half minute video. this is literally art theft, it's time to abolish fair use laws.

So, have you seen those hour-long scene breakdowns / tutorial videos they upload?
Apparently the artists that make those videos for stylized station don’t get paid, lol. That guy was always sketchy to me, but I still assumed all the artists that create the majority of content of his channel actually got paid at least something. Making such a long edited breakdown video require a stupidly high amount of work. This makes it even worse, there are huge threads on twitter about it.
You even have to pay like 50 bucks to HIM to get featured on his Instagram page, but if you refuse, they will sometimes still take and post your work there for free.
What a gigantic asshole. But I’m even more mad about dumbass artists who accept it, they surely knew they were working for free?
