Speaking of wich, how is the base mesh customization on Daz? Do you a have a lot of freedom or does it always stay on the realistic side of proportions?

you can export to ZBrush, modify it however you want, and bring it back to create a custom morph

I guess that works if you don't touch the number of vertices or remove the original subdivisions, right?

correct
IIRC you must do all changes without subdivision; there is an add-on to create HD morphs but it's limited to authorized artists
you can change the topology if you use geografts. I don't have experience with it, though

Huh. You're using big words, uh? You think it makes you better, yeah? You think it? I have been fired from more movies than you can imagine. That's also the exact number of movies I was hired for, but Hollywood keep hiring me. So pack up your big dictionaries of words and go fuck yourself, loser.

There a Daz version on f95 that lets you create hd morphs I think.

There's nothing wrong with the actress.
The problem is the VFX team couldn't find the opacity setting in whatever tools they were using so she looks like a regular ass person instead of a translucent hologram.

PREVIEWS-RENDER.jpg
Anonymous at Tue, 8 Feb 2022 14:28:31 UTC No. 881032
is there a way to AUTOMATICALLY save these little icon previews with exactly what's shown on the viewport (aka an iray preview) instead of the dull default "texture render"?
sometimes the default icon doesn't even show what the item really looks like rendered.
I save things and the previews look so ugly, I always have to screenshot and manually replace them one by one..
