more like retarded, from the previus thread i can see you're a busy man with 10 whole days to learn 3d, in 6 days you learned how to stack boxes, something you learn in the span of 30 minutes. go do something else with your life jean-ahmed

Look, we all have bad days but you derailed your own two threads by acting like a fucking idiot. So it's hard to feel bad for you and make you understand that none of us can hold your hand and make you do this. Either you have the energy to do it or you don't. Your fucking boss isn't going to put up with that bullshit, neither will your co-workers.

Meditate, change careers, take medication, do whatever it takes to keep yourself out of your head and to focus on the task at hand.

Coming back and forth on 4chin isn't going to do jack shit. This is already a slow as fuck board and lots of people here are bored and troll and shitpost. Out of maybe 30 threads, there is a nugget of wisdom and something to learn from. If you want real discussion and engagement, go anywhere else but here. Reddit, Blender forums, facebook; anywhere but here. People are making fun of you because it's obvious you don't know what you're doing but you're not willing to put in the work. That's why people are so fired up and calling you names.

We all want to make cool shit and have ideas but it takes a certain type of person to go from the idea phase to just doing it. I've seen what you've progressed in. Just keep doing it and fuck up. Keep fucking up so bad that the program crashes. Learn from those fuck ups. Start back from square one. Watch as many tutorials as it takes. Just keep doing something besides coming back here.

No, he's right, 6 days and what have I done, nothing.
I give up, I can't do this, no talent, no interest, no passion, I'm done. I learned how to start using the shader screen today, add depth but I can't, I have no talent no interest, nothing, just ideas.

Bro, I believe in you. Just keep trying. Don't give up. That's lame if this is what makes you throw in the towel. You gotta keep going! You have a vison and you can see it through!

I have given up, I've been trying to make something cool, learning and toying nodes but I can't. The textures won't work and my PC is not beefy enough for procedural ones.

What do you mean by minimalist? It won't handle cycles rendering and my textures are fucked, most entertaining thing was the emission gradient though

Anonymous No. 880402

Render in Eevee, increase ambient occlusion in settings.

Just literally follow 5 minute tutorial from Ian Hubert on how to make objects from photos, you already had working textured object before. Even if you somehow managed to forget how to do it, just rewatch the tutorial again.

Other anon is saying "minimalist" because you could try just applying simple materials with different colors. You don't even have to know how unwrap models, just apply materials and change their colors. You just need good ambient occlusion / lighting and the background can look good just with those things.

Sigh, I know my posts are pointless and you won't listen...

The concrete textures are fucked up, it's useless, without the concrete textures it's rubbish

What do you MEAN they are fucked up? The texture itself or the shader you created? Download textures from Textures.com, Polyhaven or Megascans. Follow literally any blender tutorial on how to make a shader.

I tried making the textures with bump map, reflection map and so on and I can get some to work but I cant finish a scene.

What can I say, 3D is hard. When I was starting, I once spent a couple of months just playing around with foliage, lighting and all the rendering settings in UE4. Nobody handholded me. But it was fun to experiment with it, even though often it WAS painful because I wasn't sure what am I doing wrong and how to improve the visuals. Some people give up, some push through it. Now I do this professionaly.

Do whatever you want, if you're not enjoying it at all, quit. But know that it will take a long time to get gud at this, and if you want us to help, you need to show what you're having trouble with. Can't read your mind.

This.
The concept of deleting projects is super baffling to me. It reeks of tech-illiteracy.
Like the kind of illiteracy where you buy a shitty Chromebook from Best-Buy because some random worker there said it's what you should get, and you don't know jack shit about any computer except how to use Facebook and jerk off to PornHub. Like the kind of person that ends every sentence with "lol" or "lmao"

I keep every single project I've ever started in the last 10 years even super shitty ones that I spent all of 5 mins on. I'm even bummed out that I lost files older than that on old PCs with dead HDDs or just be being a stupid teenager and not backing things up.
It's more work to actually go out of your way to delete something than it is to just leave the 5mb worth of cubes you moved around in 3d space on your HDD.
Fuck, I even back up significant projects to physical media (M-Discs) nowadays.

Deleting projects and renders is just such a foreign concept to me, you'd have to be actually retarded to do it.
I want even my stupidest projects to remain long after I'm gone. Everything you make is your legacy, even if it's a shitty one.
