there really isn't much different between versions when it comes to pure poly-modelling. newer ones have some bugfixes, better simulations etc.

Actually it's the 2022 version of Maya that are broken. I used original and pirate and both had same exact bugs for 2022.0.

On 2022.0, there was this saving bug that ruined your projects everytime u saved and loaded them again.

To fix this you have to disable "execute script nodes" on load in load options. Dont pirate.

I just downloaded 2020.6 instead. Still don't know what I'm missing from 2022.

Also i don't know, maybe cracks are different maybe it just repack or something else, 2022.2 works just fine for me
